Juniors Program
Step into a World of Playful Discovery: Tailored Nurturing and Specialized Care for Our Junior Explorers
Preparing to Soar
At this stage, Juniors are exploring everything around them—more than ever before. They feel ready to take on the world! Our Juniors are unique and learn much through participation and of course, their curiosity. We encourage independent exploration through structured activities and a hands-on learning approach that enhances the confidence of every student.
A Day in the Life at Lakeside Christian Academy
Students will work on early literacy, in preparation for pre-kindergarten. Letter and number recognition are just one of the areas mastered. We spare no effort to stimulate your child’s desire to learn. Juniors enjoy spending time with other children their own age and becoming involved in group activities. As they gain more independence, they are learning to be compassionate and kind towards their classmates.

Can my child eat breakfast at school?
Students who are enrolled in our Before Care program are allowed to eat their home-brought breakfast from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM.
How can I communicate with my child’s teacher?
The success of our program is based on establishing a partnership between our parents and staff. Open and frequent communication will help your child have a positive early learning experience. Teachers and Administrators welcome the opportunity to speak with parents. Drop off and pick up can be a busy time for our teachers. Therefore, we encourage you to make an appointment so that undivided attention may be given to you. Teachers will communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and milestones being reached through an app that connects parents and teachers by enabling digital daily reports, pictures, messages, and more.
When are students required to wear a uniform?
From age one. Children participate in various activities throughout the day, some of which are messy or athletic, and play outdoors daily, weather permitting. Because of this, it’s our policy that students must wear their Lakeside Christian Academy shirts from Monday to Friday. Additionally, no open-toed or open-backed shoes are allowed. The most appropriate shoes for participation in school activities are rubber-soled sneakers with socks.
